Donald FrederickBUTLERAged 86 Years Passed away peacefully on Friday 19th May 2023. Don shall be remembered as a devoted husband to his late wife Pauline, loving father to Aidan and late son Rhett, and cherished grandfather to Charlie and Luke. He was also a beloved father-in-law, uncle, friend, and horseracing historian. Over the past six years, Don embraced life with inspiring zeal, Bailey's in hand. He became an avid adventurer, spending part of the year abroad, proudly watching Aidan continue in his footsteps. Don's enthusiasm for singing, storytelling, endless billiards games, and socializing never wavered. His life serves as a reminder that you're never too old to try new things (in Don's case: fish tacos, dance aerobics, and wearing a tuxedo with a tracksuit). Our sadness is commensurate with the immeasurable love we have for our Don. We're so thankful to everyone who helped make his last chapter one of joy, mischief, and magic. What a ride. A service to celebrate Don's life will take place at Redditch Crematorium on Wednesday 28th June 2023 at 11am. Please wear something spiffy for Don. Family flowers only.
